As we all know or seen in news that post COVID mucormycosis is spreading in India. In one of its management surgeons has to remove the eye to save the life of the patient known as Exenteration procedure. Though it is a life saving procedure but the patient loses his/her eye and parts of structures near the eye. At Art Eyes we treat such patients for cosmetic rehabilitation. We try to replace the missing parts of eye or Complete eye for cosmetic purpose. Such prosthetic eye called as Orbital or Facial prosthesis. It can be used with the help of adhesive, spectacle or implants.
